 WHAT
The Big-To-Do is an evening of family fun at world-class Zoo Atlanta featuring children’s activities, musical entertainment from A Class Act Band, hands-on animal encounters, rides on the Norfolk Southern Zoo Express Train and Nabisco Endangered Species Carousel, animal demonstrations and a fantastic Low Country Barbecue dinner.

About The Children's Program
The Children’s Program of Visiting Nurse | Hospice Atlanta was founded in 1991 to meet the comprehensive medical, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of pediatric patients and their loved ones. Home health and hospice care is provided in patients’ homes and in the Hospice Atlanta Center, a residential facility for terminally-ill adults and children who are unable to remain at home. Visiting Nurse | Hospice Atlanta also provides bereavement care to families of pediatric patients for up to two years and organizes Camp STARS bereavement camps for surviving siblings and familes.
The Big-To-Do is the largest fundraising event in support of this valuable program and raised over $170,000 in 2007. Over the years, the Big-To-Do has become a family favorite attracting more than 1,300 guests for a wonderful evening at Zoo Atlanta. For the 17th consecutive year, we are pleased to have the support of local artist Anne Hathaway who has created the whimsical elephant artwork for this year's celebration.

All proceeds from the 17th Annual Big-To-Do fund specialized pediatric care for Visiting Nurse | Hospice Atlanta’s littlest patients and their families.
